I have been to Batanes, and I couldn't find the right words to describe its pristine beauty - simple, pure, and timeless - everywhere you look is just breathtaking. Not only did I fall in love with its rolling hills, boulder beaches, rugged mountains, impressive hedgerows, historic churches, and rich culture, most especially with the Ivatans, who are constantly courteous, sincere, shy but definitiely friendly, and, have unconditional respect for their God-given homeland. I will never get tired of visiting this place from time to time, because this is the only province that made me feel one with God and one with Mother Nature. God bless Batanes, and the rest of the Ivatans.
