WHEN: 1st Week of March

WHERE: Sitio Diura, Mahatao

The Festival Marks the start of the fishing season of the arayu (Dorado). Fisherfolks perform a ritual called “kapayvanuvanua” by buthering a pig and offering food to the spirits to pray for a bountiful fishing season and safety while at sea.
