Functions:

• Prepares and integrates long, medium, and short-term provincial development agenda, plans and programs including their accompanying resources and investment plans and programs, fiscal and policy support requirements
  
• Develops and issues guidelines and standards for implementation, including information, education and communication materials necessary for general and technical understanding of the development agenda, plans, programs, and projects of the province
  
• Develops, installs, and implements quality and performance monitoring, assessment, and evaluation of plans, programs, and projects implementation
  
• Gathers, processes, organizes and maintains province's database
  
• Makes available information for policy, strategy, and program formulation, implementation and evaluation
  
• Provides implementing offices technical staff assistance and support in planning and development of programs and projects
